Why is the Fury right for me?

It might not be for you...but if you are serious about your softball and want to be the best player you can be, if you want to play softball in college, if you are looking for a team that attends the best showcases across the country, if you are looking for a team that is coached by non-parent professional coaches, if you want a team that is highly respected by the college coaches, and if you want a team that is going to teach you the "college way" of doing things, then the Fury IS right for you.

The Fury has a schedule of showcase tournaments in the summer and fall that covers all quadrants of the United States. The schedule is intended to provide you with the greatest opportunity to be seen by the most NCAA D1, D2 and D3 schools across the country, as well as NAIA schools and Junior Colleges. While most teams go to local and regional showcases in Florida or in the southeast, during the summer the Fury goes to the most prestigious showcases in Pennsylvania, California, Ohio, South Carolina and Florida. In the fall the Fury goes to 3 Florida showcases, plus one in Ohio and one in New Jersey. These events provide the players with exceptional recruiting opportunities through geographic diversity that maximizes college coach exposure.

But in addition to great showcasing, the Fury teaches the "college way" on the field, and prepares the girls to play at the college level. We emphasize responsibility and accountability to the players, and the players are expected to act in a mature manner. At our away tournaments, the players stay in team rooms, 4 players to a room, and the team eats together as a team. For most tournaments the parents can save money by not even traveling with the team as the coaches are in control of the girls. The girls have a curfew, do their own laundry, and are responsible for getting themselves up in the morning and keeping track of their equipment. The "Fury Experience" is a process, and all aspects of your development are included.
