APRIL ORTENZO DOING WELL AT WEST POINT

We are so proud of the following Fury players who were awarded with the Miracle Sports All-State Honors:

Her dad, Al, says that she has to sleep with her M-16 rifle, and that it is very demanding with intensive mental, physical and academic training. Her days at 5am-10pm, 7 days a week. They do not hear from April too often since she is not allowed cellphones or internet access. Below is a photo of April (on the left) with her new classmates.

April gets to work out with the West Point softball team 3 evenings a week (signees plus those who will try to walk on). She finishes basic training in a couple of weeks, and her family is going up to West Point on August 14th for the "Acceptance Day" ceremony.
